Coastal San Diego is series of unique seaside communities each with its own personality, but all in close proximity to Downtown San Diego and the heart of the city. This makes for the perfect match of outdoorsy beach town with urban environment and niceties.
This stretch of coast has some of the best surf breaks around, but will typically be a bit more crowded than further out of the city. Boardwalks and beachfront eateries can be found in Coronado, Ocean Beach, and Pacific Beach. But each of these communities hold on to their own personality and style.
